CIVILIZATION -

 

According to Kardashev scale, civilizations can be categorised as follows:

• A Type I civilization, also called a planetary civilization—can use and store all of the energy available on its planet.
• A Type II civilization also called a stellar civilization—can use and control energy at the scale of its planetary system.
• A Type III civilization also called a galactic civilization—can control energy at the scale of its entire host galaxy.

But very few, if any, reach type II, the reason being they destroy themselves in wars before they can advance that first step —if they are anything like us that is.

Judging by the state of things on Earth right now, I very much believe we will not be playing golf with types II nor III any time soon.
